Badruddin Ajmal Biography

A scholar from Deoband in Uttar Pradesh and one of India’s richest politicians who made his millions from the family business, Badruddin Ajmal is a member of the Indian Parliament from Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency. He is the founder of the Assam United Democratic Front (AUDF), now the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF). He is also the president of the Assam State Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind. Ajmal was also featured in the 2015-16 list of World's 500 Most Influential Muslims published by Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre of Jordan.
