Aparna Yadav came into this world on 6 August 1989, and she has gone on to build a career that merges her service to the public with her activism at the grassroots level. Prateek Yadav, the younger son of Mulayam Singh Yadav, is her husband and thus, with her, home is one of the most influential political families of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from that, she has a postgraduate degree in International Relations as well as Women's Studies, which clearly shows that she is highly oriented academically towards governance and social issues.
As she involved herself more and more in the execution of local developmental schemes, her focus on women’s safety, education, and public grievance redressal made her popular among the masses. Aparna Yadav’s attribute that most people remember and which also shows prominently in her works is that she interacts with people in a very easy and simple manner, yet she is very efficient, and in most cases, she conducts her independent investigations on administration and law enforcement in UP, and expresses her views on these topics.
In 2022, she politically decided to go to the Bharatiya Janata Party and join the ranks. Her bid from Lucknow Cantonment was unsuccessful, although she did not seem to be very active in the election; she has been committed to engaging in social work, party outreach programs, and citizens' activities. She has become known to the public as a fledgling political figure with a different voice whose identity is not solely connected with the Yadav family heritage.
