Ravi Kishan Shukla

Ravi Kishan, born Ravi Kishan Shukla on July 17, 1969, in Mumbai, India, is a multifaceted personality known for his contributions to Indian cinema, television, and politics. He is recognized as an accomplished actor, television host, and social activist.

With a prolific career spanning over three decades, Ravi Kishan has appeared in a remarkable 750+ films across various Indian languages, including Hindi, Bhojpuri, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil. He embarked on his acting journey with the Hindi film "Pitambar" in 1992 and has since graced the silver screen with memorable performances in notable films such as "Hera Pheri," "Tanu Weds Manu," and "Bullett Raja," among others.

Beyond his cinematic endeavours, Ravi Kishan has also made significant strides in the realm of television, participating in reality shows like "Bigg Boss" and "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa," while also hosting programs such as "Bathroom Singer" and "Ek Se Badhkar Ek - Jalwe Sitaron Ke."

A luminary in Bhojpuri cinema, Ravi Kishan has left an indelible mark with his roles in films like "Saiyaan Hamar," "Raja Bhojpuriya," and "Satyamev Jayate." In 2019, he secured victory in the general elections as a BJP candidate from the Gorakhpur Constituency, subsequently serving as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha. His commitment to public service has earned him a nomination from the BJP to contest the upcoming 2024 general elections from the same constituency.

Being an eminent social worker and parliamentarian as well as a well-known celebrity, he participates in various social and cultural activities.

On a personal front, he married Priti Shukla and was blessed with four daughters with her.
