Rajenthrabhalaji K.T Biography

Rajenthrabhalaji K.T was the Minister for Information, Special Programme Implementation of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu. He is the incumbent member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from the Sivakasi constituency. He was the Minister for Information, Special Programme Implementation of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu. In 1996 he was the Vice President of the Tiruttangal town panchayat in 1996. In 2011 assembly election he defeated Vanaraja.T of DMK by securing a 59% vote share.

On June 12, the Madurai bench of Madras High Court ordered the DVAC to probe into the allegations of disproportionate assets by Rajenthrabhalaji K.T. The case was filed by B Mahendran in 2013 demanding an investigation into his assets. He was accused of purchasing land in Devanatham and Tiruttangal for an amount that was below the market value. However, proceedings were dropped due to lack of sufficient evidence to support the allegations leveled against the minister.

In 2017 he accused two private milk companies of adulterating their products with chemicals. The Madras court issued an order asking the minister to stop making disparaging comments on the firm but the order was later set aside stating it's the ministers prerogative to look after the welfare of his citizens.
