Raksha Nikhil Khadse entered the world on May 13, 1987, in Khetia, Madhya Pradesh, as a member of a family deeply connected to the countryside. Later, she shifted to Muktainagar, the place where she got her education and took part in social activities, located in the Jalgaon district of Maharashtra. She has a degree in Computer Science (B.Sc.).
Khadse’s political career started from the grassroots, and in 2010, she was appointed as Sarpanch of Kothali village through elections. After that, she was part of Jalgaon Zila Parishad and also acted as Chairperson of the Health, Education & Sports Committee, thereby acquiring a good amount of administrative experience at the local level.
In 2014, Khadse took a daring step into national-level politics when she was chosen as Member of Parliament from the Raver Lok Sabha constituency, and that too by a huge margin. At the age of 26, she became one of the youngest MPs in the 16th Lok Sabha. She was again elected in 2019 and then again in 2024, thus confirming her position in the Lok Sabha.
Her work in Parliament has consisted of committee participation, lobbying on rural development, women’s empowerment, and education issues, and constituency representation. She was appointed Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports in the June 2024 Modi-led government's cabinet, thus making her entry into the executive power at the national level.
As of 2026, Raksha Khadse was still performing her twin role of a three-time Lok Sabha MP and Union Minister markedly, still being an active figure in both legislative and ministerial affairs.
