Kapil Dev Prasad, reportedly also known as Bhuvan Patel, is an Indian politician from East Champaran district, Bihar, associated with the Prashant Kishor-led Jan Suraaj Party. He became the most notable figure as the party's candidate from the Raxaul constituency in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
Before moving to Jan Suraaj, Kapil Dev Prasad had a link with the Janata Dal (United) and was deeply involved in local development and grassroots political mobilization. His decision to join Jan Suraaj was a declaration of his intention to fight for clean politics, transparency, and youth-led leadership in Bihar.
