D. Ravikumar Biography

D. Ravikumar (born 1961) is a Lok Sabha MP from the Villuppuram constituency. He is the General Seceratory Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi. He contested 2019 Lok Sabha Election on VCK alliance party DMK's symbol and registered victory from Villupuram parliamentary constituency in Tamil Nadu. He is a well known writer, lawyer politician, intellectual, and anti-caste activist. He is an Ambedkarite.

In 2006, D Ravikumar was elected to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from Kattumannarkoil, Cuddalore district. He did M.A., B.L., Ph.d at Tamil University Thanjavur and Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu.

He also has several books on poetry published.
