Chintamani Malviya

Chintamani Malviya was born on April 28, 1958, in Madhya Pradesh. He pursued higher education and completed his post-graduation (M.A.), following which he became involved in socio-political activities in the Ujjain region. Over the years, he developed a strong connection with grassroots-level public work and organisational politics.

He is affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party and has been associated with the party’s ideological and organisational framework for a significant period. Before entering Parliament, he actively contributed to party-building efforts and public outreach in Madhya Pradesh, particularly in and around the Ujjain region.

In the 2014 general elections, he was elected as a Member of Parliament to the 16th Lok Sabha from the Ujjain constituency. His victory marked his entry into national politics and positioned him as a representative of a key religious and cultural region in the state. During his tenure in Parliament, he participated in legislative proceedings and was involved in constituency development initiatives.

As a parliamentarian, he was also associated with various parliamentary committees, contributing to discussions and policy-related matters. His role extended beyond legislative participation to engaging with issues concerning infrastructure, public services, and regional development in his constituency.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he contested again from Ujjain but was defeated, marking the end of his term in Parliament. Despite this, he has remained active in political and organisational affairs, continuing his engagement with the party and public life.

As of 2026, he continues to be active in public and political life, maintaining his influence while actively engaging in political activities, organisational responsibilities, constituency-level interactions, and broader public affairs.
