Akbaruddin Owaisi is the eldest son of the Owaisi family of Hyderabad, a prominent family, and is the major political leader of the Owaisi family. Early in his life, he decided to follow a political career, and he became a member of AIMIM. In his journey up the ranks, he combined her work and achievements at the grassroots level of the constituency, a command over the administration, and his ability to mobilize the party activists and supporters. Most of his political journey has been based on the steadfast emotional and social bond with the people of Chandrayangutta.
One of the major themes of his political work has been the development of the constituency. He has taken special care with the improvement of the civic infrastructure, the health sectors, and the schools. He has been very active in the speeches and political interventions, which, in turn, have made him one of the most recognisable leaders of AIMIM.
In addition, he has been the party’s representative most times in important political discussions in Telangana. Although he was faced with many challenges, he strongly maintained his grip over his constituency by direct involvement and firm working methods through the organisation.
After living a long political life with many wins in 2025, Akbaruddin Owaisi gave a subtle hint of his retirement from politics. The comment he made to him was the talk of the town in political circles in Telangana and brought about the questions of succession within AIMIM and his next role in public life. Even though he has not officially withdrawn from the scene yet, he seemed to be indicating that he was going to take on an advisory role.
