The Municipal Corporation of Delhi or MCD Elections 2022 was held on December 4, 2022. And, the election was conducted to elect 250 councillors. And the day finally came, as the result day was scheduled on 7th December, 2022.
As per reports, the Aam Admi Party seems leading with 134 seats. Whereas, the ruling party surprisingly sets its new record by taking second lead with 104 seats. Congress receives 9 seats and the Independent party gets 3 seats. Notably, it was the first municipal corporation election post its reunification in the month of May, 2022.
