I expect a photo finish in Kerala, says Congress spokesperson Tom Vadakkan

Thiruvananthapuram, May 19: The battle in Kerala is clearly between the LDF and the UDF, says Congress spokesperson Tom Vadakkan. Although I cannot make more comments since we are only relying on early leads, Vadakkan says that it will be a lot closer than expected.

On the issued of leadership where Oommen Chandy is concerned, Vadakkan informed that these are not the issues to speak about now. Where Chandy was concerned there was an issue of perception (referring to the corruption charges). However, looking at the manner in which the campaign took place, I can say that he fought the perception battle very well.

On the BJP leading in a couple of seats in Kerala, he says that the trends are early. There is no third party here in the race. It is a straight battle between the UDF and the LDF. I am expecting that it would be a photo finish, Vadakkan also says.
