After months of intense heat and high temperature across the national capital rain dropped the temperature that remained around 28 degrees until 1 pm. During the last 24 hours, several parts of Delhi received light to moderate rainfall, while a few areas recorded moderate showers.

The minimum temperature ranged between 26°C and 29°C, while the maximum temperature stayed between 35°C and 36°C.

Apart from Delhi NCR several other northeast states - Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, are also expected to receive rainfall over the next three days. IMD has forecast light rain to moderate rain across regions including Shimla, Mandi and Sirmaur.
