Sheena Bora Murder: Finally Revealed! Who informed Mumbai Police about Indrani Mukerjea

Mumbai, Oct 18: Months after her arrest, finally it has been revealed who was the person who had informed Mumbai Police about Indrani Mukerjea and her alleged role in Sheena Bora murder case.

The informer of the police was an auto driver. Indrani's driver Shyam Rai, who allegedly had helped Indrani to kill Sheena, disclosed the murder secrets to the auto driver during a drunken grumbling.

After taking information from Shyam Rai, the driver, whose identity has not been disclosed yet, met police officials who later arrested Shyam Rai.

Indrani, the former media baron, allegedly killed 23-year-old Sheena in 2012. Sheena was Indrani's daughter from her first marriage with Siddharth Das.

Indrani later got married to former CEO of Star India, Peter Mukerjea. However, she did not disclose Sheena's real identity and introduced her daughter as her sister to Peter.

It was suspected that Sheena might have blackmailed Indrani and the latter got scared. Indrani along with her former husband (2nd husband) Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai allegedly killed Sheena.

The trio allegedly disposed of Sheena's body in a jungle near Mumbai. Indrani told everyone that Sheena had gone abroad for higher studies.

However, Mumbai Police got information about the sensational murder and arrested all three accused. Currently, three of them are in judicial custody.
