New OTT Releases This Week In Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Hindi & Telugu In July 1st Week

The first week of July 2026 is packed with new OTT releases across Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Zee5, JioHotstar and Apple TV. The lineup has international dramas, Indian originals, true-crime documentaries, animation, horror, comedy and returning favourites, giving viewers plenty to queue up through the weekend.

Netflix has the heaviest slate this week, led by returning shows such as Sullivan’s Crossing, Enola Holmes 3, Worst Neighbor Ever and Survival of the Thickest. Indian audiences also get fresh regional titles, including the Telugu-language comedy Super Subbu and Japanese projects available in multiple languages.

Netflix leads the week’s OTT releases

Sullivan’s Crossing Season 4 arrives on Netflix on June 30, 2026. The new season follows Maggie as she tries to rebuild her career and deepen her relationship with Cal. Her plans are shaken when Liam returns without warning, threatening the stability she has worked hard to regain. Morgan Kohan and Chad Michael Murray return in key roles.

Enola Holmes 3 begins streaming on Netflix on July 1, 2026. The film takes Enola Holmes to Malta, where a planned wedding turns into a dangerous investigation after Sherlock disappears. Millie Bobby Brown, Louis Partridge and Henry Cavill headline the third instalment, which continues the franchise’s mix of mystery, adventure and family tension.

Netflix also brings Worst Neighbor Ever on July 1. The documentary series examines true stories of neighbours whose behaviour moves from disturbing to criminal. The cases include fraud, intimidation and violent revenge, making it a pick for viewers who prefer real-life crime stories over scripted thrillers.

Japanese thriller Human Vapor streams on Netflix from July 2. The story begins with a death on live television and a suspect who can turn into gas. A detective then uncovers links to a secret project that exploited vulnerable people. Shun Oguri, Yu Aoi and Suzu Hirose star in the series.

Super Subbu, also on Netflix from July 2, offers a more comic Indian option. Sundeep Kishan plays Subbu, an unlucky man sent to teach sex education in a conservative village. Mithila Palkar and Murli Sharma co-star in the film, which will stream in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and other languages.

Prime Video, JioHotstar and Zee5 add Indian stories

Amazon Prime Video’s Elle releases on July 1. Set in 1995, the series looks at Elle Woods before her Harvard years. It follows her high-school life, complicated friendships, forbidden romance and early style choices. Lexi Minetree leads the cast, alongside June Diane Raphael and Tom Everett Scott.

Prime Video also brings Isakapatnam on July 2. The crime drama is set in a port town where Naidu rises from outsider to feared power broker. The story explores port politics, illegal trade and family conflict, as his daughter Bharathi begins questioning the cost of his empire. Samuthirakani, Aishwarya Rajesh and Naresh Agastya star in the Telugu, Tamil and Hindi release.

Zee5’s Malayalam title Muthassi arrives on July 3. The film follows a mother caught between love and destruction as her son undergoes a demonic change linked to a cursed lineage. KPAC Leela, Amith Chakalakkal and Akhila Bharghavan feature in the horror drama.

JioHotstar has two notable July 3 releases. Pritam and Pedro pairs contrasting personalities in a Hindi comedy built around chaos, conflict and unlikely friendship. The cast includes Arshad Warsi, Vir Hirani, Vikrant Massey, Boman Irani and Mona Singh.

Mollywood Times, also on JioHotstar, follows a filmmaker who dreams of becoming the greatest horror director. His ambition is tested by politics and the pressure to prove himself. Naslen K Gafoor, Basil Joseph, Vineeth Sreenivasan and Sharaf U Dheen star in the Malayalam film, which will also stream in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.

Returning favourites and animation to watch

Survival of the Thickest Season 3 streams on Netflix from July 2. The new season follows Mavis as she builds momentum in the designer fashion world while entering a new life stage with Luca. Tone Bell, Peppermint and Garcelle Beauvais are part of the returning cast.

Apple TV’s Silo Season 3 releases on July 3. The dystopian drama continues the story of an underground society while also exploring its origin centuries earlier. Rebecca Ferguson returns as Juliette Nichols, while Jessica Henwick and Ashley Zukerman appear in the “Before Times” storyline linked to a catastrophic conspiracy.

Netflix’s Sparks of Tomorrow arrives on July 5. Set in an alternate past, the animated adventure follows an unlikely duo searching for a missing catalogue that could bring electricity to the smoke-filled streets of Kyoto. The series will stream in Japanese, English and Hindi, with Yuma Uchida, Sora Amamiya and Koki Uchiyama among the voice cast.

For viewers planning beyond the weekend, July also has several mid-to-late month releases. Apple TV’s Lucky, starring Anya Taylor-Joy, streams from July 15. Amazon Prime Video’s action series Ride or Die, led by Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham, also arrives on July 15.

Netflix adds Musafir Cafe on July 24, with Vikrant Massey, Vedika Pinto and Mahima Makwana in a drama about strangers, food and second chances. Amazon Prime Video closes the month with Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 on July 31, bringing the noir-inspired animated Batman series back to Gotham’s darker corners.

The week’s strongest choices depend on mood. Mystery fans can start with Enola Holmes 3 or Human Vapor, while Indian drama viewers have Isakapatnam, Muthassi and Mollywood Times. For lighter viewing, Super Subbu, Pritam and Pedro and Elle offer easier weekend picks.
