Sheena Bora Murder: Revealed! The anonymous caller who helped police to nab Indrani Mukerjea

Mumbai, Sept 10: Sheena Bora was missing for last three years. Her mother Indrani Mukerjea told everyone including her family members that Sheena had gone to US for further studies.

Three years after her disappearance, Mumbai Police received a phone call from an anonymous caller which led the cops to arrest Indrani Mukerjea and two others in connection with sensational Sheena Bora murder case.

Weeks after the arrests of three main accused in the case, Indrani Mukerjea, Sanjeev Khanna and Shyam Rai, media reports claimed that the anonymous caller has finally been identified.

According to media reports, the anonymous caller was the husband of Sheena's close childhood friend.

Sheena in 2011 had gone to Assam to attend her friend's marriage. According to reports, the couple, who currently is based in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, had gone to Mumbai and stayed with Sheena.

It was during their Mumbai visit, the couple came to know many secrets about Sheena's personal life. Later they got suspicious when Sheena suddenly stopped communicating with them.

They reportedly had met Indrani and asked about Sheena's whereabouts. However, Indrani allegedly threatened them. They also tried to contact Rahul Mukerjea, Sheena's boyfriend. But Rahul by that time had stopped pursuing Sheena case as Indrani accused him of stalking Sheena.

Finally, the couple decided to call Mumbai Police. It has also been reported that husband of Sheena's friend works with one of the armed forces. He also has been asked by his seniors not to appear before media, hence, they have been maintaining anonymity, media reports added.

Sheena had gone missing in 2012. Indrani Mukerjea, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai allegedly had killed Sheena and later disposed of her body in a jungle in Raigad, near Mumbai.

All three accused have been sent to judicial custody. Indrani is the wife of former CEO of Star India Network, Peter Mukerjea. Sheena was in a relationship with Peter's son from his previous marriage.
