Odd-Even Scheme: Delhi minister follows Kejriwal's rules, rides bike to office

New Delhi, Jan 1: As Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal rolled out the Odd-Even scheme in Delhi, the Tourism Minister of the national capital, Kapil Mishra was seen driving motor bike to reach his work place, the Central Secretariat.

While promoting Odd-Even scheme and to make sure that the Delhi citizens use two-wheelers for travelling, Kapil Mishra announced that he himself would use motor bike to control air pollution.

Mishra even said to a news agency that people of Delhi have already started following the odd-even formula quite effectively.

'Odd-Even' scheme started from Friday, Jan 1 and Delhi Police are responsible to check whether commuters are following this scheme wisely or not.

The scheme has hit the roads on trial basis for 15 days from the beginning of new year. According to rule, cars with odd-numbered licence plates will only be allowed on the roads on odd-numbered dates and those with even-numbered plates on the others from 8 am to 8 pm.
