Nepal Investment Summit 2024: Ambassadors Call For Indian Business Participation
An "Industry Outreach Meet" was convened in New Delhi on April 11, 2024, by the Embassy of Nepal in India and PHDCCI India-Nepal Centre, ahead of the forthcoming Nepal Investment Summit 2024, to attract substantial participation from the Indian industry.
Detailed presentations about promising investment opportunities in Nepal were delivered by Amb Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma, Nepal's Ambassador to India, and Sushil Bhatta, CEO of Investment Board Nepal.

During the industry meet, it was emphasized by Amb Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma, Nepal's Ambassador to India, that Nepal is seen as a naturally preferred investment destination by Indian businesses, and the Nepal Investment Summit 2024 provides an opportunity to discuss investment and reinvestment plans and convert big business ideas into action on the ground.
The Government of Nepal's unwavering commitments to simplifying business procedures and providing support to businesses are expected to encourage both existing and prospective business houses in Nepal, with Indian businesses invited to explore and participate in Nepal's industrial aspirations.
In his detailed presentation during the industry meet, reflections were shared by Sushil Bhatta, CEO of Investment Board Nepal, indicating that with partnerships like the India-Nepal Centre (PHDCCI) and other leading Indian industry umbrella organizations, there is hope for overwhelming participation from the Indian industry at the Nepal Investment Summit 2024.
Investment Board Nepal is looking forward to welcoming Indian industry captains with a keen interest in exploring Nepal as an emerging investment destination on a global scale.
The meeting was addressed by various dignitaries, including Amb Manjeev Singh Puri, Amb Ranjit Rae, Anil Khaitan, Ajay Poddar, Kamlesh Jain, Anukool Bhatnagar, Atul K Thakur, Bishal Thapa, Dushyant Thakor, Satya Narayanan R, Sujatha Kshirsagar, Deepak Saigal, and Dr Kazem Samandari.
