Indian-origin wins Australs debating competition
Wellington, Jul 19: An Indian-origin student had won a debating competition in New Zealand.
Udayan Mukherjee, student of New Zealand's Victoria University, was a part of the Victoria University team which became the first New Zealand university to win 'Australs', the Australasian University Debating Championship, in the last 12 years.
The debate was held in Auckland on Wednesday, Jul 7 and it is considered as one of the top debating competitions in the world.
