Vienna: Woman found dead in ambassador's house

Vienna, Dec 30: The stabbed body of a 30-year-old woman was found in the basement of the Vienna residence of Lebanon's ambassador to Austria, Ishaya El-Khoury, on Tuesday, Dec 29, police said.

The victim, identified as the a domestic worker in the residence was found by residence's cook on Tuesday morning, Dec 29.

Spokeswoman for the Vienna police department informed that crime scene is being searched by investigators and witnesses are being interviewed.

"It was murder. There are multiple stab wounds," the spokeswoman said.

She said that further details on the time of the time and procedure of the crime is unavailable.

No arrest has been made so far with regard to the case.

Police said that ambassador, Ishaya El-Khoury was abroad.
