UP: Muzaffarnagar panchayat issues diktat to behead relatives of a killer: Report

Meerut, Oct 18: In a shocking incident, a panchayat in Muzaffarnagar district of western Uttar Pradesh has given orders to behead the relatives of a contract killer, who was murdered in August this year.

After the horrific decision of the panchayat at Nagla Riyawali village, his relatives have approached police to get security.

Fearing for their life, they have reportedly left the village and have shifted to nearby Dola village.

Musahid, the contract kiler was hacked to death in Niwada village in Baghpat, TOI reported. In last five years, he had killed at least 30 people.

Meanwhile, some elders of the village claimed that no such diktat of beheading anyone has been issued by the panchayat.
