Teenage girl killed, police suspects alleged spurned girlfriend

Kolkata, Aug 7: The body of a teenage girl was found at southeast railway colony on August 6, Thursday.

The victim was working as a domestic helper at BNR North Colony.

The police got a complaint from the employer of the victim around 7:15 pm stating that the victim who was staying at the servant quarters was stabbed. She was taken to BNR Central Hospital and was declared brought dead.

According to the police, investigation has started to figure out the culprit and motive behind the act.
Additional OC (homicide section) and detective division photographers reached the spot.

The teenager lived with her mother and siblings. The victim was stabbed repeatedly. The police is suspecting a girl who went missing.

According to sources, the suspect was forcing the victim to accept her as a lover, but the victim rejected the proposal.

The accused chased the victim out of her home and stabbed her continuously, said the sources.
