Girl thrashes boy black and blue in Bharatpur for allegedly defaming her
Jaipur, July 17: In a reminiscent of Rohtak sisters' brave act, a girl from Rajasthan's Bharatpur thrashed a boy black and blue with a stick for allegedly defaming her. The girl told the media that she did not approach the police as she wanted to give the boy a chance, but when things did not improve, she decided to take the matter in her own hands.
"Some boys tried to defame me. It is my message to them that don't assume girls are weak," she was quoted as saying by ANI.
"If you think you were born as Donald Trump's son, it's your misunderstanding. No girl is weak. If you cross limits, we will raise our voices and then your life won't be spared. I did not approach police as I wanted to give him a chance to improve," she added.
The video shows the girl, who seems to be an athlete, confronting the accused and later beating him black and blue with a stick.
"He is spreading rumours among his friends that this girl is his girlfriend and talks to him 4-5 times a day," she told the onlookers and later slapped the boy, as per a PTI report.
SP Bharatpur, Anil Tank, however, said no complaint has been lodged in connection with the matter.
Rajesh Kumar, SHO, Kotwali police station area said the girl was preparing for competitive exams and practised running in the area.
In 2014, two sisters were allegedly eve-teased by three men in the moving bus on Rohtak-Sonipat road. The sisters had confronted three eve-teasers with one of the girls even hitting the youths with her belt, even as passengers remained mute spectators. The entire incident, recorded by a passenger on mobile phone, went viral both on television and social media. It showed the two girls using hands and a belt to thrash the eve-teasers, who appeared to be taken by surprise.
