Trump's nominee to head intel agencies ‘shocked' at ISRO's 104 satellites launch
Coats reportedly said the US cannot afford to be seen lagging behind.
Former Indiana Senator and US President Donald Trump's pick for the position of the director of National Intelligence, Dan Coats, has said that he was 'shocked' to hear about ISRO launching 104 satellites into the space, said reports.
During his confirmation hearing for the top position, Coats reportedly said the US cannot afford to be seen lagging behind.

Coats served as a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee before retiring from Congress last year.
If approved by the Senate, he would head the umbrella office that would control all major American intelligence agencies including the CIA.
Indian Space Research Organisation had successfully launched a record 104 satellites on a single PSLV rocket from the Sriharikota on February 15. The total weight of all the 104 satellites carried on-board PSLV-C37 was 1378 kg.
