Shah Rukh Khan Buys ₹37 Crore Delhi Home Where He Began Married Life With Gauri

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has bought a property in Delhi. The residence is special for the actor and his wife Gauri as they began their married life in the house.

Located at Panchsheel Park, Khan has purchased the second and third floors of a residential property, according to a report in Money Control. While the price paid for the residence has not been revealed yet, the value of the property is estimated to be around Rs 37 crore.

The property is built on a 1,200-square-yard plot (around 10,800 square feet) and the price of the land in the neighbourhood is Rs 34,260 per square foot.

Muslim-born Shah Rukh Khan tied the knot with Gauri, a Hindu by birth, on October 25, 1991. First they got a registered civil marriage. On the same day, they married as per the Hindu customs before Nikah, the formal marriage as per the Islamic law.

After the marriage, the couple stayed in the said place. So, the residence has a special place in Khan's heart. According to online reports, they moved to Mumbai a month later as Khan had big aspirations to become an actor. Rest is history.

In addition to this Delhi property, he owns Mannat, sea-facing Bandra home and the most famous property associated with him, farmhouse in Alibaug, a villa named Jannat in Dubai, properties in London and the US.

On the work front, Khan will be next seen in action thriller King. Siddharth Anand-directorial flick has Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and others. His daughter Suhana is part of the cast.
