3 killed in Russsia helicopter crash

Moscow, April 19: All three people aboard a Robinson helicopter were killed as it crashed off the tip of Yamal peninsula in Russia, officials said on Tuesday, April 19.

The helicopter disappeared near Bely Island on Monday, according to Ministry for Emergency Situations and Civil Defence.

Three rescuers, who were sent to survey the area, found the debris of the helicopter and the bodies, media eported.

The ministry said the weather deteriorated sharply during the flight.
