PM Modi Meets Elon Musk, Surprises His Children With These Thoughtful Gifts
Billionaire Elon Musk met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday in Washington. He was accompanied by his girlfriend, Shivon Zilis, and their three children. The meeting took place at Blair House, where PM Modi presented Musk's children with three books: 'The Crescent Moon' by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, 'The Great RK Narayan Collection,' and 'Panchatantra' by Pandit Vishnu Sharma.
Pictures shared by PM Modi on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter showed Musk's children reading the books. PM Modi expressed his pleasure at meeting Musk's family and discussing a range of topics.

Musk, who is one of the world's richest men, has fathered 12 children. Reports suggest he welcomed twins with Shivon Zilis, an executive at his brain technology company Neuralink, in 2021. He later confirmed the birth of their third child. Musk's first child, born to his ex-wife Justine Musk, tragically passed away at just 10 weeks old. The couple later had five children through IVF - twins Griffin and Vivian, and triplets Saxon, Damian, and Kai. After their divorce, Musk had three more children with musician Grimes - X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl (known as "Y"), and Techno Mechanicus (nicknamed "Tau").
PM Modi's Meeting With Elon Musk
Following the meeting, PM Modi described it as "very good." He stated that they discussed topics including space, mobility, technology, and innovation. He also spoke about India's commitment to reforms and the concept of "Minimum Government, Maximum Governance."
An official statement from the Prime Minister's Office mentioned that both leaders explored ways to enhance cooperation between India and the United States in areas such as innovation, space exploration, artificial intelligence, and sustainable development. The discussions also covered entrepreneurship and governance.
PM Modi was joined by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Indian Ambassador to the US Vinay Kwatra, and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.
The meeting took place hours before PM Modi's scheduled talks with former US President Donald Trump at the White House.
