PTI supporters continued holding rallies across Islamabad and Rawalpindi, openly challenging Section 144 restrictions while demanding transparency on Imran Khan's condition inside Adiala Jail. The former Pakistan Prime Minister has been imprisoned since August 2023 following a corruption conviction, and growing concerns over his safety and health have fuelled persistent street demonstrations near courts and key government buildings.

As crowds gathered outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC), Minister of State for Interior Tallal Chaudhry reiterated that the government would strictly enforce the ban on public gatherings. He warned that "whether they come to the Islamabad High Court or the Adiala Jail, action under Section 144 will be taken without discrimination," urging PTI-backed lawmakers to comply with the law.

Under mounting pressure from PTI activists and family members, Adiala Jail authorities permitted Imran Khan's sister Uzma Khanum to meet him on Tuesday. According to Dawn News, she entered the prison compound with a large group of PTI workers before meeting the PTI founder inside. The approval came after repeated complaints from relatives who claimed they were being denied access, sparking fresh speculation about Imran Khan's treatment in custody.

This visit followed days of protests demanding clear information on Imran's health and legal status. Supporters argued that the lack of updates was fuelling rumours and intensifying the political agitation around the jail.

Protests Continue Despite Restrictions Across Islamabad

PTI workers also staged demonstrations outside the Islamabad High Court, despite Section 144 being imposed across the capital. Many protesters demanded transparency regarding Imran Khan's legal proceedings and welfare, stressing that his August 2023 conviction and prolonged detention carry major implications for Pakistan's political landscape.

Authorities have linked the tightened restrictions in Islamabad and Rawalpindi to security concerns, as PTI planned multiple rallies near courts and Adiala Jail. Officials emphasized that the rules would apply equally to ordinary supporters and PTI-backed legislators, while PTI leaders framed the demonstrations as a push for fair access to Imran Khan and consistent updates on his condition.
