Before Leaving For India, Pakistan Captain Babar Azam Fined For This Reason
Pakistan captain Babar Azam has come under scrutiny after he was reportedly fined over traffic violations in Lahore's Gulberg area. The incident occurred on September 17.
As reported by Geo News, Babar was fined around Rs 570 (Indian Rupee) (2,000 Pakistani Rupee) for two offenses: driving without a valid driver's license and a lane violation.

Going by the report, Babar was pulled over due to a lane violation, but upon interaction with the police, it was revealed that he lacked a valid driver's license.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan cricket team led by captain Babar Azam on Wednesday arrived In India to take part in the ODI World Cup which is scheduled to be held between October 5 and November 18. This is the Men in Green's its first visit to India in seven years.
The Pakistan team will spend a lot of time in Hyderabad, having arrived from Dubai where it had a long nine-hour layover. The squad had left Lahore in the wee hours of Wednesday and reached Hyderabad in the night.
Pakistan will start off its campaign with warm-up matches, starting with New Zealand on September 29, followed by a match against Australia on October 3. Their first official tournament match is against the Netherlands, with a subsequent match against Sri Lanka scheduled for October 10.
Notably, the Pakistan players obtained their Indian visas less than 48 hours before their planned travel.
Nonetheless, confusion had prevailed over the visa issues as it was cleared just 48 hours before the team's departure on September 27.
PCB spokesperson Umar Farooq mentioned, "We have not received a call from the Indian High Commission yet regarding visa clearance, and a member of our team is stationed there."
The cricket matches between India and Pakistan have become limited to the Asia Cup and ICC events due to the strained relations between the two nations.
