'Today Was Just A Trailer': CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Heads Home After Jantar Mantar Rally

After leading a major protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke shared an emotional message on social media, thanking supporters for turning up in large numbers and hinting that the movement is far from over.

In a post on X, Dipke said he was returning home to meet his parents after more than a year. He also revealed that his family had faced significant difficulties in recent weeks and had allegedly been forced to leave their home due to threats.

"Going home to see my parents, it's been more than a year since I last met them. They've suffered a lot over the last 15 days and had to leave home because of threats. Will be taking them back home," Dipke wrote.

'Today's Protest Was Just A Trailer'

The CJP founder also used the post to thank those who attended the demonstration in Delhi.

Referring to the large turnout at Jantar Mantar, Dipke suggested that the campaign would continue in the coming days.

"FYI, today's protest was just a trailer. Thank you for showing up in such huge numbers!" he wrote.

The message quickly gained attention among supporters of the youth-led movement, many of whom praised the protest and expressed support for its demands related to examination and recruitment reforms.

Security Increased At Dipke's Residence

Meanwhile, police have strengthened security arrangements at Dipke's residence in the Waluj MIDC area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.

According to officials, additional police personnel have been deployed near the residence to prevent unnecessary crowding and maintain law and order as public attention around the CJP movement continues to grow.

Authorities said the security measures were precautionary in nature and aimed at ensuring smooth management of any gatherings near the residence.

Protest Draws National Attention

The Jantar Mantar protest brought together students, youth activists and supporters from different parts of the country. The movement has been demanding accountability over alleged irregularities in major examinations and recruitment tests, including NEET, CUET, CBSE-related exams and SSC recruitment examinations.

The protest also received support from climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, who addressed participants and called for broader reforms in India's education system.

Six Detained During Protest

While the protest remained largely peaceful, Delhi Police detained six individuals during the event as a precautionary measure.

According to officials, the action was taken after police received information about the possibility of tensions between supporters and opponents of the online movement.
Authorities said the detentions were aimed at preventing any confrontation and maintaining public order at the protest site.

The growing popularity of the Cockroach Janta Party has attracted national attention in recent weeks, particularly among students and job aspirants concerned about examination transparency and recruitment processes.
