Shimla is a fantastic city: Manisha Koirala
Shimla, Apr 19: Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala on Monday admired the "understanding" people of Shimla for ensuring hassle-free shooting and showered praises on its natural beauty and serene surrounding.
Koirala, who is in the city for the shoot of her upcoming movie "Dear Maya" said, "Shimla is a fantastic city, I am fascinated by the natural beauty of the city and its serene environment and also thankful to the authorities for ensuring hassle-free shooting".

"It will be fantastic if necessary infrastructure is developed in Shimla for film industry for promoting budding actors and other professionals," she said.
The actress said she enjoyed a neat and clean place like Shimla and had a good time hiking at various spots around the capital city.
However, she rued lack of air connectivity to the city and requested the authorities to make airport in Shimla functional so that the city is easily accessible for shooting.
The production team also requested the government to relax the norms for shooting at various venues across the city to promote shooting ventures.
The movie, slated to release later this year is a suspense thriller, which will mark her return to the Bollywood after her venture in a Kannada film last year.
Claiming that the movie with its unorthodox theme would be liked by the viewers, Manisha said that the film is directed by highly talented director, has talented actors and a hardworking crew.
