PM Modi To Empower 48 Lakh Women With Rs 2,500 Crore Fund For SHGs

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release a Rs 2,500 crore Revolving Fund to benefit 48 lakh members of Self-Help Groups, aiming to enhance women's financial independence and social status.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with Lakhpati Didis from across India and release a Revolving Fund of Rs 2,500 crore. This initiative aims to benefit around 48 lakh members of 4.3 lakh Self-Help Groups (SHGs). PM Modi's schedule includes visits to Jalgaon in Maharashtra and Jodhpur in Rajasthan on August 25.

At approximately 11:15 am, the Prime Minister will attend the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan in Jalgaon. During this event, he will present certificates and honour 11 lakh new Lakhpati Didis who achieved this status during the NDA Government's third term. Additionally, he will disburse bank loans amounting to Rs 5,000 crore to support 25.8 lakh members of 2.35 lakh SHGs.

Lakhpati Didi Yojana

Later in the day, at around 4:30 PM, PM Modi will be the Chief Guest at the concluding ceremony of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Rajasthan High Court in Jodhpur. The event will take place at the court's campus, where he will also inaugurate the Rajasthan High Court Museum.
