Militants attack Police in J&K, one cop martyred
GNS news agency reported that police cordoned off Zakura area after inputs about the presence of militants.
One Sub-Inspector was martyred and a PSO injured in an attack on a police party by terrorists in Zakura Hazratbal area of Srinagar on Friday.

Three militants travelling in a car opened fire at a police team at the Zakura crossing on the Srinagar-Ganderbal road.
GNS news agency reported that police cordoned off Zakura area after inputs about the presence of militants. It said that the SI, identified as Imran Ahmad, lost his life.
"As the searches were on near suspected spot, hiding militants opened fire, resulting in injuries to two cops including one sub-inspector," said the report.
