Intolerance: After SRK, Salman, Aamir Khan too breaks silence, gets slammed; here's why
Mumbai, Nov 24: Just a day after his controversial interview, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan faced criticism and this time he was slammed by his colleagues in Bollywood.
Bollywood actor Anupam Kher and actor-turned-politician Paresh Rawal slammed Aamir who recently in an interview told that he and his wife Kiran Rao had considered of leaving India citing growing "intolerance" in the country.

Speaking at Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards, an 'alarmed' Aamir on Monday, Nov 23 said, "When I chat with Kiran at home, she says 'Should we move out of India?' That's a disastrous and big statement for Kiran to make. She fears for her child. She fears about what the atmosphere around us will be. She feels scared to open the newspapers every day."
The statement surprised many and Paresh Rawal and Anupam Kher were a few among them. Aamir Khan's statement did not go well with those who believe that intolerance controversy is being created by a group of opportunists.

Aamir was not the first one who spoke about "growing intolerance in India". The superstar Khans -- Shahrukh and Salman too had expressed their views and joined the debate.

But Paresh Rawal and Anupam Kher turned to micro-blogging site Twitter and criticised Aamir Khan. Anupam Kher is known as BJP loyalist, Paresh Rawal is BJP MP from Ahmedabad East, Gujarat. Both Anupam Kher and Paresh Rawal, however, clarified why they do not expect Aamir Khan to join the chorus over "intolerance".
Dear @aamir_khan. Did you ask Kiran which country would she like to move out to? Did you tell her that this country has made you AAMIR KHAN.
