God Knows The Truth: Jyothi Rai On Alleged Private Video Leak

Multilingual actress Jyothi Poorvaj, popularly known as Jyothi Rai, has finally broken her silence over the leaked private photos and videos that had sent shockwaves through the film industry in 2024.

In an interview with TV9 Kannada, the actress addressed the controversy head-on, saying, "I got to know little late. Then I registered a complaint and gave clarification as well. I did what was required from me. When I have not done any mistake why should I worry about it? I know what I am and God knows the truth. People around me know that I have not made any mistakes. They had stood by me then and now."

She further stated that she had no reason to fear or seek attention through controversy. "Even you people know that I am not such a girl. When I have not done any mistake why should I fear them? Moreover, I don't need such thing to gain publicity and if required I would have done earlier," Jyothi added.

When asked about handling online trolls and negativity, the actress responded confidently: "With all the support of family and the god's support, when I have done no mistake why should I get scared? I am a 'bindas' girl not to pay heed to those negative comments. The god has to punish those who did it."

The incident last year saw her intimate pictures and videos circulating widely on social media, drawing both public attention and industry concern.

Jyothi Rai, a well-known face in the Kannada television industry, has acted in over 20 TV serials, including the popular show 'Bande Baratava Kaala'. She has also appeared in notable Kannada films such as 'Sitarama Kalyana', 'Gandhada Gudi', '99' and 'Diya Varnapatala'.

Currently, she stars in the Telugu serial 'Guppedantha Manasu' and is gearing up for her next film, 'Halka Don'.
