The movie has got positive response in Bengaluru, which registered the highest occupancy of 33.50% from a total of 383 shows. Mysuru also stood out with a 65.50% occupancy from 42 shows. Hubballi saw an occupancy rate of 26.00% from 16 shows. Nevertheless, despite the variation in regional performance, the film is expected to gross more than Rs 10 crore on its opening day in Karnataka alone.

In addition to Shivaraj Kumar's powerful lead performance, the film features a talented ensemble cast, including Rahul Bose, Rukmini Vasanth, Devaraj, Chaya Singh, Madhu Guruswamy, Vasishta N. Simha, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and Babu Hirannaiah in supporting roles. Their contributions help build a dynamic narrative that complements the intense transformation of the central character.

The plot of Bhairathi Ranagal delves into the origin of Shivaraj Kumar's iconic character, Bhairathi Ranagal. The film traces his journey from a law-abiding and ethical lawyer to a feared kingpin of the mining mafia in Karnataka. As a young boy in the peaceful village of Ronapura, Bhairathi exhibits an unshakable sense of justice. His deep commitment to righting wrongs becomes evident when he takes drastic steps to fight injustice in his village, showing that he will go to any lengths to defend the oppressed.

This strong moral compass follows Bhairathi into adulthood, where he pursues a career in law. He soon becomes embroiled in a high-stakes legal battle against a powerful industrialist, Parande (played by Rahul Bose), whose actions threaten the community he holds dear. As the story unfolds, Bhairathi realizes that traditional methods of justice no longer work against Parande's vast influence. This realization forces him to make life-altering decisions, leading him down a path of no return-ultimately shaping him into the gangster seen in Mufti (2017). The film provides a deep dive into the events and motivations that drive Bhairathi's dramatic transformation from a principled lawyer to a feared criminal kingpin.

Bhairathi Ranagal offers a compelling blend of commercial appeal and emotional depth. Packed with gripping action sequences, intense fight scenes, and seeti-maar dialogues (a term used for heroic, crowd-pleasing lines), the movie caters to the masses, providing a cinematic experience that is both thrilling and engaging. The film's narrative is designed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats, with director Narthan expertly blending action, drama, and character development.

Narthan has solidified his reputation as a skilled commercial storyteller with Bhairathi Ranagal, and the film is being hailed as a must-watch for fans of mass entertainment. His ability to deliver a high-impact film that resonates with both commercial moviegoers and critics alike demonstrates his mastery in balancing mass appeal with a strong narrative core.

Bhairathi Ranagal is poised to become a major hit, especially with Shivaraj Kumar's captivating performance and the film's action-packed narrative, which promises to leave a lasting impact on viewers.
