Nude Photos Of Class 9 Student Generated By AI Goes Viral, Parents Alert Bengaluru Police

Bengaluru police are investigating a case involving the circulation of computer-generated nude photos of class 9 students.

The incident came to light when the parents of one of the students approached the Cyber Crime Cell of Bengaluru Police, alleging that AI-generated nude photos of their daughter had been shared in an Instagram group, according to CNN-News18.

The parents' complaint indicated that the incident occurred on Friday.

The parents suspect that the perpetrator may be known to the girls, as the photo used to create the morphed images was taken from the girl's private Instagram account, CNN-News18 reported. A private Instagram account restricts content visibility to approved followers only.

While the Cyber Crime Cell is working to trace the IP address involved, the school has also initiated an internal investigation. As part of this, they have called in a student suspected of involvement in the incident.

"The parents of the girl and the suspected students are meeting. It's a sensitive matter and must be handled carefully," a source said.
