Kiran Bedi protest against IAS officer's suspension

New Delhi, July 29: The suspension of tough and upright IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal has again raised issues of politicians derailing good work of officials by summary suspension.

The sub-divisional magistrate of Gautam Buddh Nagar at Greater Noida was suspended on Saturday night without any inquiry or any serious charges. Durga Nagpal had stopped illegal sand mining and the sand business had forced the administration to suspend her. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has justified the suspension.

The IAS officers association of Uttar Pradesh has met the state chief secretary requesting revocation of the suspension.

The social media is registering its protest but does Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Alhilesh Yadav care to listen to peoples voices?
