IPS officer Rahul Sharma's suicide note found

Bilaspur, Mar 14: IPS officer Rahul Sharma, who allegedly shot himself dead with his service revolver on Mar 12, had in his suicide note addressed to his wife had written that he was working under extreme pressure from his seniors, said reports.

According to police, 37-year-old Sharma in his suicide note sought apology from his wife and family for taking his own life, saying that he was under mental depression because of extreme pressure from seniors.

The 2002-batch IPS officer, who holding crucial ranks, stayed at Dantewada, the Maoists and Naxals-hit district in Chhattisgarh shot himself in the head inside the toilet of Police Officer's Mess on Mar 12.

Meanwhile, Congrees party of Chattisgarh has demanded resignation of the state Home Minister and CBI probe into the suicide case. Moreover, Congress members alleged that administrative terrorism and land mafia pressure led to Sharma committing suicide.
