Jan Lokpal Bill: Anna arrests govt? Continues fast in Tihar

New Delhi, Aug 16: The government has already issued release order for Anna Hazare, but the Gandhian crusader refused to accept the order and continues his fast protest from Tihar jail in Delhi. Citing the current situation, many claimed that "Anna Hazare arrested the government".

It seems that the government has been confronted with more trouble in taking Anna out of the jail rather than taking him (Anna) under preventive custody or putting him inside the jail.

The crusader on Wednesday, Aug 17, continuing his hunger strike, demanded government permission to hold his fast-protest in JP Park in Delhi.

However, section 144 is still being imposed in JP Park, Raj Ghat and the other areas preventing mass gathering. Despite government's all efforts, Anna received nation-wide support over his India Against Corruption movement.

Anna's aides - Kiran Bedi, Shanti Bhshan and others were also detained and later released by the police on Tuesday and team Anna continues their demand for strong Jan Lokpal Bill.
