Probe on Italian PM for having sex with minor

Rome, Jan 15: Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi, is facing investigation in connection with the allegations of having sex with an underage prostitute. The prosecutors have started investigation on Silvio Berlusconi after he allegedly helped the prostitute to get out of police custody when she was arrested for a theft.

Earlier, the prostitute named Ruby admitted that she had attended party at Berlusconi's villa she was 17. But she added that there was no sexual relationship with Berlusconi.

The chief prosecutor said that Italian PM has offered to preesent himself before the court for questioning. According to Italian laws, the offences against Berlusconi may get up to 15 years in jail.

Mean while, Berlusconi's lawyers said that the allegations were "absurd and groundless" and described the investigation as a "very serious interference in the private life."
