Prove Radia-link or face court: BJP threatens Cong
Rejecting any business relation with Radia, BJP president Nitin Gadkari on Dec 25 claimed, "This (BJP-Raida link) is a cent per cent lie. I have not even seen Radia face-to-face. She has never called me, neither have I called her. And there is no issue of meeting her or helping her."
When Congress was thrashed to a single side with scams allegations like CWG, 2G spectrum and many others, the party on Dec 25, held guns at opposition BJP by claiming its (BJP) connection with Radia.
Congress claimed that BJP's general secretary Ananth Kumar had a direct connection with Radia"s former business partner Rao Dheeraj Singh. Congress also dragged senior BJP leader in this allegations as the party accused Advani for his presence at a temple function on a plot allegedly allotted to Radia in south Delhi.
BJP spokesperson on Dec 25 asked, "Was Advani admiring her (Radia) lobbying skills when he laid the foundation stone?"
On the other side BJP spokesperson claimed, "If Rao Dheeraj Singh, a one-time associate of Radia who has hurled these accusations, has guts, he should bring out all the facts."
Radia's name came up in the 2G spectrum scam when a tape was revealed, in which Radia was accused of lobbying for former telecom minister A Raja.
