Horror films inspired by Indian mythology have become increasingly popular, but only a few manage to strike the right balance between faith, folklore, and suspense. He effortlessly carries the emotional and supernatural aspects of his character. Bhushan Pradhan delivers a sincere performance and shares good chemistry with the rest of the cast. Veteran actor Manoj Joshi adds weight to the narrative, while Sushil Singh, Spanda Palli, Neetu Pandey, and Tripti Sahu contribute effectively to the overall story.

The film also deserves appreciation for staying rooted in Indian culture. Producers Dev Gandhi, Aniket Jasani, Kalpesh Vaghasiya, and Ramesh Arreja deserve credit for supporting a story that explores mythology without losing its entertainment value. Tavvai feels like a welcome addition to the growing space of Indian stories inspired by traditional beliefs and folklore.

Another pleasant surprise is the film's soundtrack. Featuring five original songs-Deva Ho, Taandav, Kaal Bhairav Ashtakam, Rooh Ka Dhaga, and Bambuliya-the music complements the film's spiritual and mysterious atmosphere. At a time when recreated tracks dominate film albums, it's refreshing to hear original compositions that blend naturally with the narrative.

Overall, Tavvai offers an engaging mix of mythology, horror, and emotion. Supported by confident direction, solid performances, and a gripping premise, it makes for an enjoyable watch. If you're looking for a horror film that draws strength from Indian traditions rather than conventional scares, Tavvai is well worth your time.
