Police arrest six Maoists in Gaya

Gaya (Bihar), Dec.26 (ANI): Bihar Police arrested six Maoists and recovered a huge cache of weapons and explosives in Gaya District on Sunday.

Police recovered one AK-47, two carbines, two country made pistols, 249 cartridges, seven mobile phones and Rs 59, 000 from the arrested Maoists.

The Central Government considers Maoists as a biggest threat to internal security, and is running anti-Maoist operations in affected areas across the country. (ANI)
