Too l'ttle, too late, says BJP criticising CBI

BJP spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy stated, "The whole country knows there is a scam of more than Rs.70,000 crore as far as the Commonwealth Games (CWG) are concerned. But the action of CBI is too little, too late."
CBI in the early morning on Dec 24, initiated raids at Commonwealth Games (CWG) chief Suresh Kalmadi regarding several corruption allegations.
The raids have been conducting at two residences of Kalmadi in Delhi, Pune and Mumbai. CBI also made a quick hunt at Kalmadi's personal secretary Manoj Bhure on the same day.
On the other side, former telecom minister A Raja also appeared before the CBI on Dec 24 regarding his tainted role in 2G spectrum scam. Raja was summoned by the CBI under Section 160 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
