No Big Boss, Rakhi Ka Insaaf before 11pm: Govt

New Delhi, Nov 17: Information and Broadcating ministry, on Wednesday, Nov 17 directed television channels not to telecast Big Boss and Rakhi Ka Insaaf, before 11 pm.

Government said that Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 4 and Rakhi Sawant's Rakhi Ka Insaaf are not suitable for universal viewing and hence cannot be aired before 11pm.

According to new directions, Big Boss 4 and Rakhi Ka Insaaf can't be aired on prime times but only between 11 pm and 5 am.

The I&B ministry also asked these two reality shows to carry bands showing 'not suitable for children.'

The government directed all news channels not to show excerpts of Big Boss 4 and Rakhi ka Insaaf.

Earlier on Nov 12, 2010, a 25-year-old young man committed suicide following the humiliation meted out to him on the show Rakhi Ka Insaaf.
