Gerrard's wife Alex Curran denies split rumours
London, Apr 27(ANI): England footballer Steven Gerrard's wife, Alex Curran, has dismissed "ridiculous" suggestions that her marriage to the Liverpool star was in trouble.
Curran insisted the reports were completely unfounded
"There have been loads of rumours going around Liverpool saying that me and Steven have split up, that he's moved into a hotel and ridiculous things like that. This always comes up every couple of years," The Telegraph quoted Curran, as saying.
"It's funny because we were saying the other day that we've never been happier. It doesn't bother me too much as long as our close friends and family know the truth - that's all that matters. I wouldn't mind, but we don't even argue," she added.
The 27-year-old further said Gerrard, with whom she has two children, is a caring and attentive husband. He always plans little dinners, and if I've been out sometimes with the girls and I'm a little hungover, he'll get up with the children for me. He's really thoughtful like that," Curran said.
Curran and Gerrard have been a couple since 2002, and they had tied the nuptial knot in June 2007. (ANI)
