Zardari echoes Indira, says every Pakistani will get 'Roti, Kapra aur Makan'

Faisalabad, Jan.19 (ANI): Replicating former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi over resolving issues of the masses, Pakistan President Asif Zardari has said that his government would provide basic amenities such as food, cloth and house to every Pakistani.

"We will provide 'Roti, Kapra aur Makan' (food, shelter and shelter) to every Pakistani," Zardari said while addressing a public rally here.

Zardari reiterated that the PPP government has pledged to resolve issues facing the people currently, and added that it has undertaken scores of developmental projects to address the crises.

"The government will overcome the water and shortages before the end of its term and there will be employment for all," The News quoted Zardari, as saying.

He targeted people conspiring against the country's civilian regime, saying their nefarious aims would never succeed.

"People's Party always gets elevated to power after its leadership renders sacrifices but the conspiring group is sorrowful as to how a person with popular support made it to Aiwan-e-Sadr," he said.

Zardari said he is not afraid of death, saying "its actually the vice versa." (ANI)
