Brit Muslim mom held for forcing daughters into sex slavery

London, May 22 (ANI): A British Muslim mother has been jailed for forcing her two minor daughters to marry their cousins and become sex slaves in Pakistan.

The 39-year-old duped the girls, aged 14 and 15, by telling them that they were going on a holiday to Pakistan.

But when they arrived in Karachi, they discovered that a joint wedding ceremony had been secretly arranged, a Manchester Crown Court has heard.

The mother-of-five told her terrified elder daughter that unless she consummated the marriage she would "tie her to the bed, blindfold and strip her" to make sure she had sex with her new husband, the Daily Express reports.

After their return to the UK in February 2008, the teenagers told their teachers of their ordeal.

Their mother has been arrested and her daughters taken into care.

The mother, who was jailed for three years for inciting or causing a child to -engage in sexual activity, arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence and intending to pervert the course of justice, denied the charges. (ANI)
