No improvement in Dasmunsi's condition, still on life support

New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) There was no improvement today in the health of Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, two weeks after he was shifted to the Apollo Hospital from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

''The medical condition of Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi remains the same and he continues to be on life support,''a spokesperson at the Apollo hospitals, where he was shifted on October 20 from AIIMS, said.

Mr Dasmunsi, who was admitted to AIIMS on October 13 after suffering a complete left ventricular failure, was shifted to the Indraprastha Apollo hospital a week later.

Doctors at the Apoll hospitals on October 20 described Mr Dasmunsi's condition as ''very critical.'' Since then, his condition has remained the same.

Mr Dasmunsi had earlier suffered a heart attack on July 6 while on way to Kolkata from Malda after attending a meeting.
