Unitech Q2 net up 201% at Rs 415.56 cr

New Delhi, Nov 1 (UNI) Real estate firm Unitech Ltd today said its net profit increased 200.93 per cent to Rs 415.56 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 as compared to Rs 138.09 crore for the same period last fiscal.

Total income surged 58.28 per cent to Rs 906.33 crore for Q2 FY09 from Rs 572.60 crore for corresponding quarter previous fiscal.

The Group posted a net profit of Rs 358.92 crore for the July-September 2008 as compared to Rs 410.12 crore for the Q2 FY08, registering a decrease of 12.48 per cent.

Total income of the Group dipped 5.90 per cent to Rs 1,001.45 crore for the second quarter this fiscal from Rs 1,064.25 crore for the same quarter previous fiscal.
